Juwan Nicholson

Coach Juwan Nicholson, affectionately known as Coach Ju, has been coaching volleyball for five years, with experience at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. He most recently served as the League Coordinator for a citywide middle school volleyball league, P.O.P. (Play On Purpose), where he helped create meaningful opportunities for student-athletes to grow through the game.

Coach Ju’s coaching philosophy centers on developing the D.A.W.G. mentality, which stands for Defense, Accountability, Winning Plays, and Gamesmanship. He believes that volleyball is more than a sport—it is a powerful tool for building confidence, discipline, and strong leadership skills that carry over beyond the court.

When he’s not coaching, Coach Ju enjoys working out, playing volleyball, and spending time with his dog, Avon Barksdale. He brings energy, purpose, and passion to everything he does and is excited to help athletes grow within the Charm City Dynasty Volleyball Club.
